Solutions in safety

Protection that comes off for inspection.

Lurshell is a patented anti-impact shell for axles with an anti-corrosion coating, designed to be applied to painted axles.

It is easily removed during periodic non-destructive testing, so inspection never comes at the expense of protection.

  • Removable to allow axle surface NDT inspection (MT, ET, VT)
  • Impact resistance according to EN 13261 (up to 90 J) from −40 °C to +80 °C
  • Lets humidity and water drain from the shell–axle interface
  • Fire resistance according to EN 45545

Safety excellence

Tough on impact, easy on inspection

NDT ready

A removable design allows full axle surface inspection (MT, ET, VT).

Impact proof
